THE SLEEPING DORMOUSE
On a cold morning the little Moonkys find a sleeping dormouse in their bedroom. Luna immediately decides to adopt him, but Sol notices that the teeth of the animal are quite impressive. He states that the dormouse will eat them all as soon as he wakes up. Monk would like to please Luna, but finally decides to follow the advice of Sol. With most difficulties and disregarding Luna’s opinion, they try to pull the animal out of the stump. They meet an old Moonky who tells them that a dormouse is vegetarian. So they bring the dormouse back in the stump, but, still asleep, the critter starts slipping away on the snow …
One night Luna has disappeared. Little Moonky and Sol think at first that the hibernating dormouse in their room has eaten her. But his teeth are so clean … They start looking for their friend and finally find her tracks in the snow leading to the manor.
What did she want to do in this big house full of human beings ?
FUZZ BALL WAKES UP
At spring’s first signs, the dormouse wakes up. The animal has only one idea : get out of the stump. Luna is desperate and is ready to anything to keep her new friend with her. Monk and Sol on the contrary are very happy to see their visitor go. They had only little confidence in him. From the bedroom of the little ones to the front door of the stump there is a long way and the dormouse makes a big fuzz of it. Finally Luna comes back to reason : an animal you love is not a cuddly toy. He ought to live in nature.
