THE LIFE RAFT
Sol, angry because he lost the slingshot competition, throws the favourite weapon of his friend in the river, to Monk’s despair. As soon as Karnax sees the Moonkys unarmed and far away from the stump, he tries to capture them. They manage to escape thanks to a big branch that was floating in the river and which they use as a raft. But there is a storm coming up. The water is rising, a lot of snags are falling in the river. Karnax and Kasimolo jump on one of them and pursue the kids. A race starts in a tumultuous current with two objectives : get the slingshot back and escape the two bad guys.
On the river, swollen by the torrential rains, a natural dam is showing up. The water overflows to the stump, now threatened by flooding. While Luna and Sol try to destroy this dam, Little Moonky runs to the stump to get the help of the elders, already trying to hold back the water. Karnax and Kasimolo surprise Luna and Sol and start running after them. Clever Luna hides in a small part of the dam amid the branches. Karnax takes out parts to catch the little Moonky and so takes the dam apart, saving the Moonkys from the danger that was threatening them.
While cleaning the stump after the flood, the little ones find a tadpole. Luna wants to keep him and finds several disastrous solutions to have him stay in the stump. Of course legs start growing soon at the baby frog, who naturally seeks the way to the river. But he will meet two hungry bad guys on his way.
